Underwater IP camera
The underwater stainless-steel housing provides tough and reliable protection against
water, oil and dust. The housing with a viewing window of hardened safety glass can be
used as an underwater camera at depths of up to 3 metres. Its applications are principally
in industry, scientific observation by naturalists, or inspection of sewage and watermanagement
systems. The camera system is suitable for use in short-term flooding or for
continuous underwater monitoring. The wide range of variable lenses and designs makes
it suitable for virtually any purpose. The self-regulating heating system prevents misting
of the glass, even under adverse conditions. It makes use of Mobotix IP cameras of types
D24, Q24 and M12. This permits use of various dual sensors and lenses with focal
distances ranging from telescopic to wide-angle (15°-150°). The camera and the heating
system are supplied with power by an ethernet cable which also transmits the photo -
graphic data. The length of cable can be adjusted to individual
requirement up to a maximum of 100 m.
